Life is tough! We all face challenges and experience struggle in our lives. Sometimes we need reminding that we have the capacity to overcome our challenges and manage our struggles. Therapy is a great opportunity to gain new insight and perspective, find meaning, increase self-worth and self-confidence, and connect with someone, a guide, who will walk the wellness journey with you on your path to greater health. My background working with adolescents, adults, and families, including military, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC+ individuals and families, provides me with expertise to support you in navigating your individual wellness journey.
My name is Meg Wright and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I grew up in Southeast Alaska and have served fellow Alaskans in communities throughout the state. My counseling approach is tailored to meet each client's goals and integrates evidence-based therapies with modalities such as experiential, adventure-based, and expressive-arts therapies.
Therapy is a challenging process. Trusting someone with your fears, painful experiences, and desires for greater health and wellness is not a decision you make easily.
