As your therapist, I look forward to hearing about your needs, collaborating with you to define your goals, and starting you on a course toward achieving them. I offer an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing upon psychodynamic and trauma-informed methods, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, a form of psychotherapy incorporating cognitive-behavioral, dialectical, and mindfulness tools.
Since receiving my MSW in 1999, I have worked as a psychotherapist at Holyoke Medical Center's OP Center for Behavioral Health, Brightside Counseling, and Providence OP where I supervised licensed clinicians. In 2008, I completed Level II EMDR training through The Trauma Institute/Child Trauma Institute.
In 2014, I completed a post-graduate fellowship through the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis. I am currently in private practice full-time. I have a private pay option and also accept some health insurance plans including: Optum, Anthem, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Bluecard, Medicare, Harvard Pilgrim, United, Unicare, UBH, and Tricare
