BPD Family Group (On Hold)
A 10 week education and support group for partners, parents, family members, and friends. An opportunity to interact with others who have loved ones who have been diagnosed with BPD. The Family Support Group will allow members to share their experience and learn from one another. Topics include: What is Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and what are the causes;The Brain and BPD; How to respond to someone with BPD; Dealing with suicidal behavior, self-injury and other self-destructive behaviors; The sense of self - the core of BPD; Emotional regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, self-compassion and other skills.
