Knowing how hard it is to start therapy, it is my priority to ensure that the therapeutic space is safe, secure, and non-judgemental. One filled with compassionate self-reflection and growth, as well as moments of even joy and laughter (yep, laughter!). I have 10 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and the elderly within a variety of mental health settings. I strive to help you find a better understanding of who you are based on all that you’ve been through in the past/present, and work with you to replace unhealthy patterns of behavior and improve coping skills to achieve a better quality of life.
I most-often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies with the integration of mindfulness and grounding techniques. I base the therapy process on the needs of my client and touch-base intermittently on goals that were identified at the start of treatment. I am consistently creating an opportunity to process difficult emotions in a safe and secure space.
I value each and every interaction with my clients with hopes that another person will find overall contentment in their lives, regardless of the heaviness of the hardship.
