My clients come from a variety of backgrounds, but often find themselves in the helping profession. Teachers, nurses, veterinarians, and EMTs, those who have a habit of putting others' needs before their own. My clients are often worn out, burnt out, and struggling with how to stay in their profession when they don't have energy or passion anymore. Many often feel guilty because they have a "good life" when you look from the outside and don't understand why they feel the way they do. At this time I an not working with children, however, I also love exploring parenting strategies and helping children succeed through family work
I’m trained in Marriage and Family Therapy, and see individuals and families. You will find that I am very down to earth and we will laugh often. I'm not seeing children presently but I have years of experience working with kids struggling in school and at home and can offer parenting and family sessions to address issues that children may be experiencing.
If you've found me through a search, you are likely not a person who is good at asking for help. Please reach out. It can feel scary to imagine reaching out to a stranger with your personal issues, but, believe me, the relief you will feel when you finally prioritize your own health is priceless and worth it.
