The goals of the group include: 1. Learning to live alone without feeling lonely. 2. Starting life over again as a single person/parent. 3.Learning approaches to use with children while informing them their parents are divorcing. 4.. Managing an ongoing relationship with your ex-partner as co-parents. 5.. Learning to co-parent children without using them as information providers. 6.. Teaching children assertiveness skills to help them avoid being pawns beween their parents.
