I am an experienced psychotherapist with a focus on helping women identify their strengths and move past the obstacles that have held them back. Whether you are considering therapy because you want to address a specific problem or because you are interested in knowing yourself at a deeper level, our work will include understanding you as a person and not as a diagnosis, and help you build a more solid and confident sense of yourself. My approach to therapy is supportive, honest, and collaborative, as well as intelligent and engaged.
I especially welcome people who have doubts about therapy or who have tried therapy before but did not find it helpful; LGBTQQ+; and therapists looking for a confidential, psychodynamic approach. It can feel overwhelming to reach out for help with the issues that are getting in your way and I strive to make this process safe, respectful, and approachable.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for both large and small companies, and I was the owner of a small technology consulting business. This practical, down to earth, real world experience is always at the core of my work. Based in the SF Bay Area, I offer telehealth services for residents of California, Colorado, Florida, and Illinois.
