You want to live your adult life as an adult. Many of us struggle within the familiar loops that were set up with our best intentions, except often the parts of us in play formed in our childhood or adolescence. With over 18 years in practice, I have come to realize that the journey one embarks on when entering therapy is an exceedingly personal and honorable one. As such, I work very hard to be fully engaged in each and every session to help you realign with the best in you as you navigate your life.
As much as I am genuinely warm and loving in my approach, I am also very direct. My clients and I first work to build a strong collaborative alliance. Once that is established, I believe a relationship is built in which I can be straight-forward and the client can appreciate the honesty.
A few key areas my clients and I focus on are integrity, emotional maturity, and building the emotional muscles to deal with anything that life may present. I believe that it is not what happens to you, but HOW you handle it that really shapes your life.
