Welcome. It is a significant step to begin exploring how therapy could benefit your life. Clients find my approach to be warm, collaborative, integrative, trauma-informed and culturally aware, providing an affirming space to support healing and growth. My approach draws from neurobiology, attachment theory, holistic medicine, EMDR, mindfulness, ACT, and emotion-focused theories, but we will tailor our work together, informed by your identities, strengths, and experiences, to meet your unique needs and goals. My areas of specialty and include interpersonal/sexual trauma, PTSD, EMDR, gender identity, grief/loss & adjustment concerns.
I founded a multidisciplinary center at UC Irvine focused on preventing interpersonal violence and supporting survivors. With over 17 years of experience as a director, private practitioner, consultant, and speaker, I now offer psychotherapy to individuals and couples in California and Florida, and serve as a consultant and trainer for various organizations.
If you are ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out to me. Let's begin the journey together of navigating life's challenges and uncovering paths to healing and growth.
