Welcome! I am passionate about working with people during difficult times in their lives, offering hope and understanding. I enjoy working primarily with adolescents and young adults, helping them advocate for themselves, manage life stressors, build positive relationships, utilize coping strategies, and make decisions supportive of their well-being. I tailor my counseling approach to each client, mainly using behavioral theories with solution-focused qualities, fostering a trusting and genuine relationship to facilitate healing and motivated change.
I am originally from Atlanta, GA and earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Wake Forest University and my Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and English from Clemson University. I hold a range of professional experience that includes classroom teaching, as well as internships in K-12 schools and a private counseling practice.
I am currently accepting new clients at GROW Counseling, and I look forward to working through life’s journeys together!
