Prior to beginning clinical practice, I taught high school students in Metro Nashville where I was fortunate to learn from the resiliency of young people. This invaluable time eventually lead me to pursuing counseling. My clinical experience has primarily been within community centers serving diverse populations, which has informed my perspective as a culturally-competent, dynamic practitioner. Areas of clinical focus are academic issues, addiction, anxiety, codependency, depression, LGBTQ+ identities, life transitions, PTSD, and trauma.
My integrated approach to therapy includes evidence-based strategies from the following models: Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Restoration therapies.
