Working in community mental health has allowed me to effectively work with a range of emotions/feelings. I enjoy utilizing trauma informed care, strength based approaches, mindfulness, CBT, EMDR & DBT to aid each individual towards reaching their goals while taking into account past experiences to explore and explain current thought patterns and behaviors.
I feel it is important to create a safe, judgement free environment where clients can openly share experiences and address intimate details of life. I also believe it is important to have laughter and fun during therapy. I am passionate about serving others and work hard to provide person centered care with compassion, grace, and kindness.
