My work is based on my passionate belief that we are created for deep and abiding relationships with one another. To be in relationship means to be authentic and be seen for who you are without fear of judgment. It is only within this type of environment that healing can flourish. Exposing brokenness enables me to tenderly walk alongside my clients in order to illicit redemptive restoration in their lives. Joining with clients on their journeys is an honor and privilege that is not taken lightly. Treatment is always tailored to the uniqueness of clients' struggles and strengths, being informed by evidenced based practices.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and informed by narrative, person-centered, and rational emotive behavioral therapies. I utilize this integrative approach by focusing on the therapeutic relationship, identifying clients’ narratives, exposing and recreating their stories by assessing their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Brave one, join me as we seek to understand your story, explore and embrace aspects that are meaningful/helpful, and acknowledge and discard what is no longer useful. While this is challenging work, it is deep and purposeful work resulting in joy and abounding freedom.
