Finding Solid Ground
This group for survivors of childhood sexual trauma is offered several times a year. This group is a safe place to learn how you have been impacted by what happened to you, learn ways to cope with the effects and gain solid footing for healing and growth. Consistent attendance is crucial to creating group safety. Groups run for 4 to 6 weeks. Each session is 90 minutes long. Group are run by Amy Durkee, director of Spiritus Christi Mental Health Center and Lynn Acquafondata. Group is free of charge. Donations welcome.

Grief/Death of Adult Child, Suicide, Drug Overdose
Life doesn't make sense after the death of a child of any age. Listen, share and learn to cope with the help of an experienced grief counselor and other parents who have lost an adult child to drug overdose or suicide. This small, confidential support group is for parents overwhelmed by depression, anxiety, anger, guilt, flashbacks or emotional numbness. Topics include: • What to expect when grieving. • Parental identity after loss. • Coping skills. • Managing the response of friends, family and strangers. • Dealing with birthdays, holidays and anniversaries. • Guilt • Layers of grief.

Spouse Grief Support
This four week therapy group will help people who are struggling to cope following the death of a spouse or life partner. Led by grief counselor, Lynn Acquafondata, session will include grief education, coping tools and facilitated supportive conversation. Meets 2:45 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays April 2, 9, 16, 23. Register by contacting Lynn Acquafondata. Limited to six participants. Cost $120 total.
