Couples Therapy: Being coupled is one of the most choices we can make in our modern disconnected world. The experience can bring incredible love and immense healing. It is also one of the most challenging paths one can choose because in intimacy, all of our most unattractive and dysfunctional patterns emerge! Couple-hood can be a sacred experience in that in can give us an opportunity unlike any other relationship to truly "see" ourselves and experience healing in the deepest way. I am trained in a couples modality called PACT- Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy AND I owe my deepest "training" to my own partnership.
Most issues in a relationship are rooted in how we are responding to the nervous system of the other. This is why even if we know how we "should" respond to our partner, we often fail. This model goes way deeper than just communication skills. In session we learn how to co-regulate and build connection from the deepest level, from the inside, out.

Modern Keening: A Sound Inspired Grief Group
Whether you are experiencing the loss of a loved one, loss of a relationship, job, or identify this group is intended to be a sacred space of feeling into our grief while in community. Although largely forgotten in modern culture, keening was practice of ritualized lamenting. We once had a deep connection and practice of grieving with others and sharing our burden of loss. The "Bean Chaointe" (Women Keener) was a "great crier", and would embody the energy of the grief into Song. Our time together will include both passive sound experience and time for sharing.
