Why do most people come to a therapist in the first place? Because they want a better life. It's a brave thing to do- to realize that you want more for yourself and to take the step to begin making that wish a reality. Sometimes people come to me with a specific problem, and sometimes just because they're tired of feeling disappointed with life. Whatever the reason, we begin the process by sitting down together and looking at what is bothering you.

I work from a positive perspective. Rather than saying I "treat depression" or "work with anxiety," I work on building fulfillment and contentment. My core messages are about personal acceptance, growth and positive change. Using compassion and understanding, I help clients move into, and eventually past issues that are roadblocks.

I have specialized interest in working with emerging adults, motherhood, men and men's issues, and in offering coaching and therapeutic support for financial health.
