I help clients push through challenges to find fulfillment, well-being and balance in love, work and play. I offer warmth, openness and honesty in order to co-create trust and curiosity about the challenges clients face. I listen deeply, with compassion and help facilitate self-awareness, change, empowerment and growth. My approach is relational and psychodynamic, but my practice is eclectic. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. I am an Emotional Literacy Coach and Master Trainer through Yale's Center for Emotional Intelligence, helping clients build skills in communication,

relationships and intimacy. Many of my clients seek help with parenting, life transitions, life balance, relationship and marital issues, family issues, ADD, school problems, grief, emerging adulthood/launching, anxiety, self-esteem, loneliness, and managing stress/challenges, especially those related to chronic health conditions such as food allergies.

My services, including counseling, psychotherapy or coaching, take place virtually or in NYC, and are delivered with compassion and respect. I offer ongoing educational, coaching and support groups for those recently diagnosed with food allergies and those facing unique food allergy challenges. The groups provide support, education, and empowerment, improving confidence and competence in living with food allergies. Each group tailors its content to meet participant needs. While medical advice is never offered, participants learn about navigating schools (+504's) or work, celebrations, extra-curricular, summer camps, dining out, travel, etc.... I focus largely on wellness, helping participants harness the protective factors of worry to promote healthy allergen vigilance while mediating and minimizing the unhealthy ones (i.e. anxiety, food or activity avoidance.)
