I am an anxiety and depression therapist. I love helping teens and adults work through life's challenges to come out the other side feeling stronger, more confident, and skillful in their relationship with themselves and others. I have a great passion for helping people develop a life worth living and worth sharing. I work with clients at Owens & Associates Counseling & Therapy Center's Collinsville office. What can I offer? A safe space, a listening ear, empathy, compassion, acceptance, goals, skills, hope, and change. I love Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy because they offer many skills to help us reach our goals - whatever that goal may be. I enjoy being a passenger with a road map while you take the wheel.
I earned my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. I have been with Owens Counseling since my internship. I love the work that I do and the people I get to do it with. I currently live in St. Louis with my husband, son, and our two cats. I spend my spare time on the people I love, a good book, and with nature.
