Asking for help is a difficult step for anyone, especially those that cannot figure out how to get "unstuck". Many of us get caught up in negative thought patterns and have no idea how to change. My ideal client is one that is looking to work on themselves and their interpersonal relationships, in a positive and nurturing way. In therapy, we will work together to find different ways for you to become the best version of yourself using a variety of positive therapeutic modalities.
I have specialized in Solution-Focused Therapy for the past 6 years. By using small, everyday, easily implemented interventions and gaining awareness in therapy, clients will begin to see how these changes permeate all areas of their lives.
I have worked in Mexico and India with clients to process trauma linked to large-scale disasters, loss, and grief. Also, I have worked in Oncology Therapy, providing group, individual and family therapy to patients and their families. Additionally, I am writing a dissertation about High-Functioning Autism and Sexuality.
