We can feel a lot of pressure to succeed or look a certain way. Sometimes we just don't feel good enough or that we have to do things "perfectly" to be accepted. We might even think, "when will I finally get there?", "why can't I just get over this?", or "I feel like there is something wrong with me." Together, we will work to help you to heal your relationship with yourself and overcome your struggles; whether they are anxiety, depression, feelings of inadequacy, or challenges with food and/or exercise.
I specialize in working with folks who have a tendency to be hard on themselves, feel the need to be perfect, have anxiety, and/or struggle in their relationship with food, exercise, and body image. I also work with athletes who want to improve or feel so much pressure to succeed that it impacts their mental health and love for their sport.
I am a trauma informed therapist and welcome folks of all backgrounds. I am LGBTQ affirming and supporting. I am committed to doing my own work/learning in being antiracist.
