I'm glad you're here! I work with teens & adults who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression and adjustment challenges. If you feel stuck or struggle with distressing thoughts & difficult emotions, you're not alone. It's normal to want to avoid discomfort. The trouble is, this often leads to more suffering, more problems, and gets in the way of living a meaningful life. I provide a supportive & compassionate space to promote skill-building, acceptance, and flexibility to cope with triggers. I focus on helping clients make behavioral change in & outside of sessions to break old patterns.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, & Dialectical Behavior informed Therapy. I am committed to helping people discover their values, tolerate uncomfortable feelings, & make positive change. I'm particularly passionate about working with people with OCD and anxiety overcome their fears.
I believe that a strong client/ therapist relationship is at the core of effective therapy.
