Lea is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate in the DFW area. She has her undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and her Masters in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She is trained in EMDR and is a certified PrepareEnrich and RelateStrong premarital and marriage enrichment facilitator, and has training in postpartum mental health. If you find that you have past expereinces that you want to move past but feel stuck in, Lea would love to help you move forward and find freedom and relief from them, and to even experience the growth that's possible on the other side of traumatic expereinces.

Lea works with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and traumatic experiences. Lea especially has a heart for walking through healing with those who have experienced sexual violence, motherhood related trauma, including miscarriage, traumatic birth, and postpartum depression, anxiety, or OCD, and chronic or life-threatening health issues.

Lea believes that healing is a whole person practice, including the mind, body, soul, and relationships, and counseling is most effective when people feel seen and known. Lea uses a trauma-informed approach to gently help clients navigate their story and pursue growth. Lea is supervised by Dr. Crystal Brashear, MA, LPC-S.
