As a therapist, I strive to never take for granted the trust it requires to allow someone else to participate in the journey of healing. There are many reasons one might find themselves seeking a therapist, including the experience of anxiety, depression, painful memories, and relational difficulties, and no two individuals experiences any one of these in the same way. Each of us are uniquely influenced by past experiences and traumas, biology, and broader societal systems.
I use a relationally-oriented, trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive approach to treat individuals of varied cultural backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, socioeconomic statuses, and religions holistically. I enjoy partnering with individuals, parent-child dyads, and families across the lifespan as they strive to find healing.
I primarily work from a relational psychodynamic framework, and am trained in ARC and Non-directive play therapy. I am also certified in infant mental health and utilize Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) techniques when working with children ages 0-5, and I love partnering with children and parents to support connection.
