The connection between therapist and client is the most important element of successful treatment. Using a strength based approach, I strive to connect to my clients in a meaningful way, creating a safe space for them to explore difficult emotions, thought patterns, relational tendencies, and the ongoing impact of earlier experiences. I am passionate about women's issues and provide support and clarity for those going through challenging life transitions- career changes, relationship changes, parenthood, divorce, loss.
In addition to work with adult clients, I have significant experience working with families and children five years and older. I utilize creative and play therapy treatment modalities to connect successfully to younger clients. I work collaboratively with parents and the educational system as indicated to help children reach their full potential.
