I was in a low place once (I call it darkness, I was in a place of darkness) and it caused me to seek help from a stranger, a therapist. Ultimately, I am grateful for the experience I received and the healing that occurred. That is what I wish to offer you in working with me. I give empathy compassion, kindness. I provide an authentic relationship, and provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself regardless of the topic being discussed.
I specialize in eating disorders, addiction and LGBT issues. I offer different modalities of therapy including individual, couples and group. I am also a fitness and nutrition professional, so I tend to explore how psychological issues may be related to physical health and enjoy networking with medical professionals.
