My focus is young adults in their 20s and 30s struggling with depression, dating/relationships, life transitions, career/academic stress, socio-political anxiety, difficult family dynamics, trauma, and loss. My clients want to find their path in life, learn how to set boundaries, live more authentically, explore their identity, change unhelpful patterns, and improve their relationships. I celebrate diversity of gender, sexual orientation, and racial and cultural identities and integrate social justice and anti-oppressive values into my practice. I'm interested in the ways environment, history, and context shape our stories.
My approach is humanistic and strengths-based, warm and direct. I hold the view that my clients are experts on their own lives, and my role is creating a compassionate, shame-free space for honesty, curiosity, reflection, even levity. I believe everyone holds inner strength and capacity for deeper understanding, and I'm committed to guiding you toward it.
