Building confidence, overcoming adversity, being an advocate for yourself, and finding that youth you once had, are all goals that I work on with my clients. Whether getting nervous at work to speak up for yourself, planning and prioritizing tasks, and managing and coping with stress and frustrations, are all things we deal with and need help with at times. Using a humanistic approach to being social, self-determined, creative, and goal-directed, I focus on social navigation, advocacy, communication, self-esteem, comfort with self and in relationships, and managing anxiety and depressive symptoms. I am in a Registered Play Therapy (RPT) credential program and a Certified AutPlay Therapy Provider.
By building confidence and self-esteem, we can to navigate challenges slightly easier. By addressing our past hurt, we can begin to heal and find meaning. My goal is for my clients to build that support in themselves and accept all they have to offer. Through connection, belongingness, growth, and acceptance, we be able to create that life we deserve.
