I use an integrative approach, incorporating techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and psychodynamic approaches, among others. In my work with couples, I employ emotion-focused therapy (EFT) as well as Gottman techniques.
Feeling like you can trust your therapist, feel safe with her, and form a real alliance is essential to achieving positive growth and change. Therefore, the most important goal of my practice is to truly connect with my clients: be curious about what makes them unique, accept them without judgment, celebrate their strengths, and support their progress.
