I am a Senior Associate Therapist at Dr. McCurdy-McKinnon & Associates: Eating Disorders Clinic (licensed in CA and FL). I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders from a person-first, strengths-based perspective. With >10 years in social services, I have a wealth of experiences that contribute to my work as a clinician. I have specialize in eating disorders and have worked at some of the most prominent clinics in the Los Angeles area. I take a values-based approach to help clients guide themselves towards a life that is free from cognitive dissonance and true to one's authentic self.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), and use this therapy and other trauma-informed approaches to work towards detangling unhelpful or problematic cognitive patterns. I also incorporate mindfulness, somatic work, and DBT to help patients access their own internal capacity to regulate and cope.
I bring compassion and humor to the nuanced process that is required in the treatment of eating disorders and other issues. Working from a holistic, person-in-environment approach helps me to guide clients in their own process of self-determination. My goal is that clients develop a sense of their autonomy and authenticity, and leave feeling empowered.

Groups
Virtual Eating Disorders Process Group
This is a process-oriented eating disorder recovery support group, offered weekly and open to the public. It will provide therapeutic support for patients navigating recovery or interested in recovery, as well as peer support in vivo. We meet weekly on Tuesday evenings via telehealth. This group is co-facilitated by Kristen Tritt, LCSW and Hehn Dimand, ACSW. Participants are encouraged to bring their struggles, their stressors, and their whole self into this space as we work through recovery in the outside world. **Sliding scale available**
