In my professional career, I've worked with Humanitarian agencies and Peacekeeping Operations in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. Here in South Florida, my work has been focused on refugees and refugee service providers. I work with people in helping professions: Aid workers, Immigration Attorneys, Case Workers. I most enjoy helping people to unravel and heal old wounds by living through and healing new ones.
I use Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to help people understand their patterns and begin to make the changes they seek. Not every approach works for every person. My goal is help you in the way that is best for you.
Our bodies, minds and emotions all experience life in unique ways. When we are stuck, it’s often because one of those three elements are not in agreement with the other two. Our mind might tell us we are ok, but if our body feels scared we will be stuck. To move forward we need to heal in each of those areas.
