We will study and learn from moment by moment experiences about how you relate to your world and the implicit meanings it has for you. We can incorporate art, imagination, dreamwork, and playful experimentation in our work to help access some of your growing edges. This is both depth work as well as practical day to day skill building in learning to know and express a more authentic You.
My approach is strongly influenced by Hakomi, a mindfulness-based, somatic approach to psychotherapy. I also bring a systemic and social justice lens. Just as we study the unique YOU that shows up in therapy (your strengths and joys as well as your wounds), we are also considering the social systems that continue to impact and shape how you are in the world.
