I specialize in treating sexual addiction and partners of sexual addicts and Intimacy Anorexics, PTSD and trauma issues. I offer individual, marital and group counseling. I treat women that are in difficult relationships with sexual addicts and intimacy anorexics by offering behavioral techniques along with coping skills. I teach appropriate boundaries in all relationships such as partners, family members, friends and co-workers. I address low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger issues that interfere with their primary relationships. I also treat childhood trauma. I offer a safe supportive environment for clients to address these painful and private issues.
One of the area's of specialty that I am trained in is a technique called E.M.D.R. which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR is a very effective technique for resolving multiples issues from trauma experiences to addiction issues.
