Children & Teens: Sometimes children go through a tough time or feel overwhelmed, and it has an impact on the whole family. Parents may feel frustrated or confused about how to help their children. They may feel that nothing will change. I partner with children, teens, and parents who are struggling with challenging behavior, trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, and other concerns that are creating a disruption in relationships. I love helping children build coping skills in order to manage what they are going through. I help parents strengthen their relationship with their child and build on their existing parenting strategies.
Although I am not a play therapist, I love incorporating play into my work with children. I have experience working with foster and adoptive children and parents, as well as kinship caregivers, and I understand the unique needs of these families.
Adults: I also work with adults facing challenges with trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting, life transitions, and stress. I provide in person and telehealth sessions. If you feel my approach might be a good fit for you and your child, please contact me. I look forward to getting to know you.

Foster, Adoptive & Kinship Parent Group
This group will provide support to foster, adoptive, and kinship parents and exploration of the core issues in adoption and permanency, as covered in the book, "The Seven Core Issues Workbook for Parents of Traumatized Children and Teens." Any parents of children and teens who have experienced trauma are welcome. This is a 6 week group, $40 per session. Must commit to pay for all 6 sessions.
