My practice focus helps individuals and couples work through challenges and conflict. Managing stress, anxiety/mood symptoms, addiction/recovery process, and interpersonal problems are the target areas of my practice. I also work with a range of problems that commonly accompany substance use. I facilitate "Recovery" - replacing old ways of coping by discovering alternatives, and achieving success that has seemed elusive. I utilize a Systems-Oriented approach to help discover new ways to relate/function, so we create new approaches to living and solving problems, living a life that we truly want to live in.
I treat anxiety, mood disorders, dysfunctional interpersonal patterns, personality disorders, addiction/recovery, and adult ADD, with adults who are over 21. I offer individual therapy & couples therapy. I provide psychological testing and evaluation for many types of problems. My practice uses empirically driven, evidence-based methods using measures to continuously assess progress. I specialize w/ private-pay patients, yet in-network w/ some insurance companies. I provide electronic billing as a courtesy.

Transitions: Interpersonal Psychotherapy Group
A group based on working along with others to discover alternatives to maladaptive ways of managing stress, resolving conflicts, communication. We work to become aware and then discover how to 'un-do' triggers that lead to undo stress and anxiety, promoting awareness in the present to manage life situations and transitions. Our group works to illuminate the ways to directly address issues as they emerge and avoid coping patterns that lead to sabotaging goals.
