Counseling is an opportunity to manage and work through specific issues. I support clients using Person-Centered Therapy and Humanistic techniques to heal them from their past, engage with the present, and work toward a consistently healthy future. Focusing on providing nonjudgmental, empathetic services, I utilize traditional and nontraditional therapeutic approaches to help my clients gain a deeper understanding of who they are, what they desire or need, and where they are going in life. When we have greater awareness of ourselves and relationships, we are better able to gain a greater sense of belonging and significance.
I am in the final year of my program at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, where I am pursuing my Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master of Science degree. My education has prepared me to work with individuals dealing with various issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and other life transitions and difficulties.
