Hi! I'm Kelly. My approach to therapy blends warmth, creativity, curiosity, and humor. In the past, I've worked at hospices and crisis centers; I'm passionate about creating space to hold and navigate the heavy and difficult parts of life. My expertise lies in grief counseling, and I work with all different kinds of loss. I'm currently work in private practice, and I see both individuals and couples. I enjoy working with teens and young adults, queer and trans folx, and neurodivergent clients struggling with depression, anxiety, past trauma, life transitions, and existential dread.
In our shared space, my ultimate goal is to build a strong, trusting relationship with you. Although I customize the type of therapy I use to your unique needs, I frequently weave thought-based and body-based interventions into our sessions. I'm also EMDR and Gottman trained. I always work from a person-centered, trauma-informed, social justice framework.
Life is way too tough to navigate alone. With grounding exercises, open conversation, and perhaps even movement or art, I believe we can connect and create meaningful change.
