I enjoy helping individuals, couples and families find their way to healing and connection. We spend at least 12 years preparing for a career, but we don't learn how to do marriage or repair conflict. Together, we will work to consider the influences that form your attachment style, behavioral patterns, and beliefs about yourself and your surroundings. It is common to continue those familiar patterns into adulthood, which can create challenging dynamics in life and in relationships. Learning these skills early in your relationship can improve the quality of your connection for a lifetime.
Family Systems provides the framework for my theoretical approach which provides the context for how you have arrived where you are. I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman methods into our work to explore emotions and communication skills to enhance your life experience and relational connections.
