Hi, I’m Katherine, and I’m glad you found me. I love working with individuals and couples who seek to carve out a path of hope and newly imagined potential for themselves. Whether that’s moving through a transition, trauma, loss, or just wanting to feel “unstuck”, I accompany my clients through the muddy waters of emotions and life circumstances toward greater clarity and new possibilities, finding a more full version of self. Attuning to your own well of intuition and finding a sense of direction within your own dreams is what we can work toward together.
I use tools of somatic mindfulness, self-compassion, cognitive behavioral techniques, and value-centered ways of being. I am a Registered Dance Movement Therapist so may draw from some movement/somatic practices to help one further their own body-mind connection in order to feel more at home in one's skin and access emotions for which there may be no words.
I maintain weekly therapeutic sessions online with clients in any of the 4 states in which I am licensed: NY, FL, KS, and MO.

Groups
Vocational Choices and Finding Balance
I invite existing clients to share in group process when it might feel helpful to hear from others who are sorting and finding new possibilities on similar paths. Group work can offer a sense of accompaniment, inspiration, and support that often complements and bolsters the individual work already happening in therapy. The fee is $30, and no further commitment to the group required. This online group focuses on career choices that might align with one's values more fully, including maintaining a work/life balance in a culture that does not always encourage either of these.
