Watching your daughter struggle with low self-esteem, anxiety, and perfectionism can be heartbreaking. You want nothing more than to see her thrive and to feel good about herself, but sometimes it can feel like you’re not sure how to help. That’s where I come in. Hi there! I'm Katey, a licensed therapist specializing in helping preteen and teen girls overcome all aspects of perfectionism. Before my clients came to see me, they felt inadequate and less than. They were certain they would never be good enough, no matter how hard they tried.
But constantly doubting their worth is holding them back from true happiness. Every single young girl out there deserves to feel good about themselves, without worrying about how they look or what they said. Learning to be themselves and embracing their own unique strengths is not out of their reach.
I conduct therapy by using traditional talk therapy, play therapy, and art therapy. I’ll help your daughter learn to challenge negative thoughts about herself and work to build her confidence through different activities.
