Adult Adoptee Support Group
Kate is an adoptee facilitating this group for adoptees.. Adoption-related issues crop up throughout the lifespan and often they go unrecognised. This group will help you explore how your adoption story affects you and help you make sense of feelings that arise. You will find community and support as you share your experience and tell your story with others. We look at relationships in family and work settings, self-esteem, transitions and recurring patterns in your life. Kate is an adoptee herself. Sometimes expressive writing can help. "We need better stories for the stories around adoption." Author Jeanette Winterson.

Third Eye: Expressive writing for women healers
Expressive writing offers a way in to self-supervision & reflective practice for busy people. This group is for female helping and healing professionals: including therapists, healers, coaches, health professionals & therapeutic writing facilitators Join a small group of fellow practitioners and begin to develop new means of self-support and self-care by activating your creativity and reflective capacity. We use poetry, journal writing techniques (such as Captured Moments, unsent letters, dialogues, perspectives) and other expressive writing prompts to reflect on our work and our own lives. No prior writing experience is necessary. Sharing is an opportunity, never an obligation.
