Are you looking for a somatic/nervous system approach to healing trauma? I specialize in working with Trauma, Eating Disorders, Domestic Violence/IPV, anxiety and depression. I’ve been studying trauma/PTSD for the past 9 years, and have helped clients work through hard/shameful memories, PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and Eating Disorders/disordered eating. I use a HAES/anti-diet approach to working with Eating Disorders.
As a mindfulness-based, somatic psychotherapist, I use evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (trauma and Developmental injuries), and DBT to safely work through issues that may be impacting one's life. My approach is warm, non-judgmental and collaborative, especially when working with shame, depression, or painful memories.
