Hi there! I’m Kat and I’m so glad you’re reaching out. Grief, loss, and other significant life changes can feel all-consuming and overwhelming. I'm here to offer a safe space for navigating big emotions and new circumstances. I work closely with you (or your child), helping with emotional regulation, staying grounded in the body, and building resilience. We’ll use play, creativity, mindfulness, movement, storytelling, and talk therapy to feel into the hard parts of grief, loss, trauma, and relationships. I'm here to walk with you, to be an empowering companion, and to bear witness to your resilience and sense of self.
As a former elementary special education teacher and a mama, I have lots of experience walking alongside all types of brilliant and beautiful kiddos. I also have extensive experience with teens and adults, including life changes, relationship troubles, trauma, and terminal illness. Together, we can journey through all the types of loss that life can bring.
From the loss of a beloved one to struggles in school, I'm here to help you find your strength during really hard times.
