I specialize in mental health and addiction. I have experience working with individuals struggling with these challenges as well as family members and loved ones. If you or a loved one are feeling lost, stressed, sad, ashamed, anxious, or hopeless, you've come to the right place. I use a nonjudgmental approach to explore the feelings underneath the surface and encourage you to design a new set of coping skills to face the challenges of life. My aim is to guide you to live authentically with the ability to identify and express your emotions in a healthy way. It takes courage to change and I'm so glad you are here.
With a background in social work, I offer strengths-based and person-centered techniques. I also offer Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) with my dog, Jax, who is registered with Professional Therapy Dogs of Colorado. Jax works hard to help clients feel calm and supported during their sessions. This is an optional intervention and Jax works 2 days per week.
The therapist-client relationship is unique and sacred. It's important for you to feel safe with and connected to your therapist. I would be honored to be a part of your journey within.
