As a neurodivergent, queer, and disabled therapist, I know what it is like to not see yourself in your therapist. I'm a therapist with ADHD- I'm going to understand the grief you feel when talking about your past and how different it would have been if the world was built with neurodiverse people in mind. I'm a therapist with chronic illness- I'll understand how flares, injustice, and medical trauma effects your brain and your inner world. This world was not made for us in mind, but my counseling space was. Welcome!
Connection is the building blocks for change. I help folks understand how society impacts us and the way we think and judge ourselves too harshly, while holding accountability for our own choices in life. We tell stories in session to better understand each other and find insight into our individual processes.
My dearest hope for all my clients, past and future, is to be able to think about the time we spend together as valuable. Some days can be hard- working through pain usually is- and memories can be sharp. Through the connections we make, we can work together as partners to navigate healing and create moments of peace and comfort.
