This profile gets updated regularly, and is current and accurate. I'm a therapist with 14 years of full-time psychotherapy experience. In my work with clients, I offer an environment of care, compassion, humility, and human understanding. Despite its beauty, the human experience is laden with struggles, challenges, and complexities. Often these issues are worth or necessitate exploring. I enjoy working with a wide range of concerns, and I specialize in trauma, dating, and attachment. I incorporate cognitive theory, advanced knowledge of modern dating, psychodynamics, interpersonal neurobiology, and EMDR in my approach.
Most importantly, I approach my work through a systems lens, paying close attention to the effects of larger systems on our lives as well as the mind-body connection. Even though a lot of my work centers around dating and relationships, I only work with adult individuals. When appropriate, I refer out to couples therapy to trusted local colleagues.
I see clients Mondays through Thursdays in my physical office and virtually. My physical office is located in the Wicker Park neighborhood right off the Division Blue Line. Street parking is also available.
