My passion is working with individuals who are struggling with current stressors and who desire to have a more meaningful life. My goal is to help my clients develop tools they need in order to move through life with a sense of well being and meaning. My experience includes working with individuals who have an eating disorder, anxiety, adjustment concerns, negative self-esteem, and depression.
I am a bilingual licensed clinical social worker that has experience working with all age groups in a variety of clinical settings. My approach is empathic and collaborative. My hope is to make therapy an empowering place for clients to change the way that they relate with themselves and others.
My therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based practices, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). Our therapy sessions will be individualized, goal-oriented, and recovery focused.
