Hi, I'm Dr. Kaitlyn Dechant. I am a Licensed Psychologist and I provide psychotherapy services for a wide variety of concerns. I have spent my undergraduate and graduate careers focusing on work with survivors of physical, sexual, and emotional trauma. I work with children, adolescents, and adults seeking therapy services for anxiety, depression, attachment needs, life transitions and adjustments, gender/sexual identity exploration, self exploration, relational issues, and posttraumatic stress.
I utilize a variety of approaches in therapy in order to maximize each of my client’s unique presentations. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I might utilize art, music, movement, and play in therapy as it is relevant and appropriate based on age and client needs.
I recognize the strength and courage it takes to come to therapy and I work to develop a strong relationship with my clients to allow for safe and open exploration of your innermost thoughts and feelings.
