I work with older teens and adults who want support in meeting the challenges they face with more ease. In my counseling sessions I provide a space that is open, safe, and nonjudgmental. I listen closely for all that is present in you in the moment, and I offer reflections and questions to help you bring greater awareness to your experience. Over time, we can together begin to notice patterns of thinking, believing, and acting that have woven through your past and present. We may begin to see what has been helpful, and also what is now keeping you out of alignment with the life that is authentic to you.
I can support you in working to shift these patterns. I teach practical skills for changing your relationship to emotions in a way that can bring more inner balance, and skills for regarding yourself and others in a way that can bring you into greater connection. Through this process I use humor, kindness, creativity, and directness.
