Whether you can’t seem to manage your own impulses, anxiety or pain, or someone else’s choices have left you feeling stuck and in pain, it’s often hard to find a single safe person to telI. I want to be a safe place for you, where you feel it’s okay to be who you are. Together we can take a look at which ways of thinking and reacting are helping you reach your goals, and which parts of yourself may have helped you get to where you are but are now not as effective in helping you move forward. As you learn to see your whole story and learn new tools to respond in ways that line up with your true value, healing begins.
As an EMDR trained, experienced CSAT and betrayal trauma therapist I use a trauma and attachment informed approach to get to the bottom of what is causing the pain. Together we learn to identify patterns by learning to listen to your body and understanding how your emotions and sensations are pointing the way to your deeper yearnings.
Together we will work to see your current trials as windows into ways you handle life based on thinking strategies and ways of regulating emotions you picked up when you had to make it in a world where you often felt you had to manage alone. I use the CSAT Task based model with Groups and EMDR to reprocess trauma and IFS to celebrate all the parts of you!
