If you have experienced trauma and have been struggling with its effects, I want to let you know that you are not alone. If you feel like your world has been turned upside down recently, please know that this new world can still be navigated. If you believe that it's too late to work on "old" or early trauma: it's not. Most of all, I want to tell you that it is not your fault. Trauma is complex and makes a person feel and believe all sorts of things! Navigating these complexities takes time and hard work, but it is possible and you can feel alive again.
My background and specialization is working with trauma survivors. I have extensive training in the behavioral, physical, developmental, and neurobiological effects of trauma. I have been trained in EMDR and Ketamine Assisted Therapy so if you feel "stuck" with talk therapy, we have options.
And if you are new to therapy, do not fret! I make it my priority to establish warmth and safety at the start. Therapy does not need to be scary.
